Hi, I’m Danny. I’ve had a passion for creative marketing ever since I was a kid in New York City, surrounded by media and advertising. Being lucky enough to grow up in the advertising hub of the world gave me early exposure, and even when I was young, I was mocking up pretend promotional schedules for the Mets and Rangers.

Life took me to Milwaukee to attend Marquette University, where I received my bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. After several entry-level years in Chicago, I returned to Marquette for my master’s degree in Communications, and was hired by the University as a Communications Coordinator for Student Affairs immediately after graduation. There, I developed a passion for higher education and had the privilege to continue working in that field, one that I’m still involved in today as a freelancer.

In 2016, looking for a new challenge, I founded Excelsior Creative Solutions, which I have run as a freelance practice ever since. I enjoy the diversity of being able to work with multiple clients doing multiple things.

Today, I live in the northern suburbs of Milwaukee with my wife Beccah, our daughter Audrey, and our cat Shea. When I’m not working, you can find me watching sports (especially Marquette Basketball and the New York Rangers), or listening to music (my wife and I have seen Bruce Springsteen almost 20 times!).
